By promoting beneficial habits and protecting us from engineered food, harmful additives, and poorly-tested medications, the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) movement is fostering development of healthy, happy, thriving individuals and families.

WHAT IS MAHA?

MAHA is an initiative of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services dedicated to reversing the trend of chronic disease in the United States. Among its goals are unbiased scientific research, action regarding food labeling and additives, streamlined regulatory processes, public awareness campaigns, and partnering with the private sector to make America healthy again.

WHY DOES MAHA MATTER FOR CATHOLICS?

Success for MAHA means fostering a nation of citizens who can take on the challenges of life with clear minds and vigor. When our bodies are strong and healthy, when we are eating properly, exercising, and caring for God’s gift of life we can think better and act with purpose. That means we can focus better on EVERYTHING that is important, including our spiritual lives. Focusing some of that newfound MAHA energy on strengthening our faith will lead to not just a healthier America but a holier America, as well.
